Why Choose Renaissance Mulch?
Our highly refined process of recycling natural timber produces a superior mulch product in comparison to similar products available in our region. This process includes first an aging process of the initial raw mulch material for a minimum of 90 days with temperatures reaching at least 160 degrees to ensure sterilization of any viable seeds or plant matter that might be present.
Next, our mulch is screened to remove all particles less than 1/2 inch in size to further ensure that all soil or seeds that may be present are removed before grinding into a finished product.
Renaissance Natural Mulch is a great product to use in sloped applications due to its particle size and density. When compared to traditional bark mulch, Renaissance Natural Mulch has proven to stay put in sloped areas better than bark mulch, and is also less expensive.
Renaissance Outdoors, Inc. is committed to proactive environmental solutions in our region. We take pride in knowing that our recycling processes will stop a portion of material from being burned (creating carbon in our ozone) or occupying space in already overcrowded landfills.
Refinement Process
Renaissance Outdoors, Inc. has went to great length and expense to ensure that our product is consistently clean and even in texture, color, and size. Through an innovative screening process we insure that the product is the highest quality available. We also age the product to insure that any and all unwanted contaminants are removed before leaving our site.
